Since 1995, Passarelli Builders & Design has been the trusted name for home transformations in the western suburbs and throughout the greater Chicagoland area. Our core mission is to create incredible living spaces through an unparalleled customer experience rooted in passion, integrity, and deep expertise.

Today, Passarelli Builders is entering an exciting new chapter. Under new ownership, we are reaffirming our commitment to the high standards that built this brand while investing in the modern technology and project management tools necessary to serve the next generation of Illinois homeowners.

We believe that an Illinois construction company is only as good as the people swinging the hammers. While our office provides the structure, our master carpenters provide the soul. We have shifted our focus to where the expertise truly belongs: with the craftsmen who have been the driving force of this company for over a decade.

Our three lead carpenters are the heartbeat of every project. With a combined 50+ years of service—and 12 years specifically dedicated to Passarelli clients—these individuals are more than just builders; they are the keepers of our quality standards. Their deep institutional knowledge and dedication to the “Passarelli Way” ensure that every joint is tight, every line is level, and every client feels heard.

Our family worked with Passarelli Builders on a second floor addition to take an attic space with two simple rooms and turned the space into two bedrooms, two offices and a brand new bathroom. Each step of the way Tony and Cynthia were there to help guide us. We were able to speak openly with the team about any questions we had throughout the process. By the end of the project, our young son knew many of the team members by name – the guys were kind enough to take a few moments to say hello each day. Our project ran ahead of schedule and stuck very closely to our initial budget (we had a late add by the village, but otherwise no big surprises). We went with a modern design uncommon in our area. Numerous builders were unsure about pursuing it but Tony and Cyndi jumped in head first with the same level of excitement we had. Tim Lloyd

Chief Executive Officer

Passarelli leadership is a three legged stool and as CEO, Tim is our visionary “leg”. Tim brings over 30 years of business experience, spending the bulk of that time in sales and marketing, though he’s also very technical—and it’s a mix of those qualities that fuels our shared vision to build better spaces for building better lives.

Tim James (TJ)

Chief Operating Officer

As COO, TJ is our operations “leg” of the stool. TJ has the heart of an entrepreneur, having already successfully germinated an idea into a full blown successful business prior to joining the Passarelli Team. And now he brings his experience and passion to our operations, and it’s his drive that makes up the heartbeat of Passarelli every single day!

Don Pittman

Chief Financial Officer

Don is the financial “leg” of the stool. And as CFO, he compliments and completes the Passarelli leadership three legged stool. Don is one of those rare guys you meet, and you just know he’s found the right calling. This man loves the numbers and we need him too! If Tim is casting vision, then Don is steering the rudder, and TJ is making sure we get there!

John Schurbon

John has a wealth of experience in the residential construction industry, and has been with us for over a dozen years. In that time, John has proven his expertise, dedication, and leadership, which is why he is our Foreman, Team Lead, and Project Manager—and above all, his passion is to create spaces that our customers love, which is why we love him!

Brandon Garcia

Lead Carpenter

Brandon has been with us for four years now and has quickly propelled himself into the role of Lead Carpenter of our crew. This is no small feat given the depth of our crew, and it’s a witness to his shared passion for serving our customers and creating incredible living spaces through innovative carpentry and creative thinking!

Floyd Evans

Journeyman Carpenter

No doubt Floyd has earned his Journeyman wings having a career that spans decades, and the last dozen with us at Passarelli. Plainly put, Floyd is one of our strongest carpenters, and without question is a lead demo man, which is the first thing in a renovation or remodel. His expertise, passion, and experience is the foundation of almost every job we do!
